LaMagna Appointed to Lackawanna College President’s Cabinet

Dr. Dan LaMagna, Associate Vice President for Student Engagement, has recently been named a member of the President’s Cabinet at Lackawanna College. In his role at the College, Dr. LaMagna provides guidance to create and maintain services, programs, policies and procedures to advance Lackawanna’s commitment to creating an inclusive and compassionate atmosphere for students.

“I am pleased and excited to announce that Dr. Dan LaMagna has been appointed to join our leadership team on our President’s Cabinet,” said Dr. Jill A. Murray, President of Lackawanna College. “Dr. LaMagna has been a key part of our decision-making and leadership team this summer as we considered how to safely bring students back to campus. His voice will continue to be critical as we place the student experience at the forefront.”

Dr. LaMagna joined Lackawanna College in 2008, where he previously served as the Dean of Students, Assistant Dean of Students and as a Diversity Management Coordinator. He holds a doctorate in education from Capella University, a Master of Science in Sports Management and a bachelor’s degree in arts communications from East Stroudsburg University.
