Lackawanna College to Announce Initiative to Aid Local Restaurants

 

On Tuesday, September 15 at 4:30 p.m., Lackawanna College, in partnership with the City of Scranton and Scranton Tomorrow, will announce a major initiative to help local restaurants who have experienced hardship during COVID-19. The announcement will take place during a press conference located in the courtyard outside of 409 on Adams, 409 Adams Ave., Scranton.

In attendance will be Dr. Jill Murray, Lackawanna College President, Paige G. Cognetti, Mayor of Scranton and Leslie Collins, Executive Director of Scranton Tomorrow as well as multiple local restaurant owners and culinary students.

Press attending must download the Campus Clear app (see attached for directions), go through the Campus Clear process, wear face masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
