Lackawanna College Petroleum and Natural Gas Program Director Receives National Recognition
Sue Gumble, Program Director of the Lackawanna College School of Petroleum and Natural Gas (PNG), was nationally recognized on Jan.14 by the American Petroleum Institute (API). The API represents all divisions of the natural gas and oil industry throughout the United States and promotes safety protocols and public policies.
President and CEO Mike Sommers highlighted Gumble in API’s State of American Energy Address, acknowledging her dedication to educating the next generation of workers.
“It was great sharing the information about our program and how we are shaping today’s natural gas and oil industry,” said Gumble. “The program paves the way for the workforce of tomorrow with thousands of people from all around the world.”
