More About the Program
The Lackawanna College RN-to-BSN degree program is exclusively online for active licensed RNs looking to enhance their education and advance their careers.
Students will build on previous experience to achieve end-of-program outcomes based on the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s (AACN) Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice and the American Nurses Associations’ (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice.
The Course Work
As patient needs and care become more complex, nurses must expand their knowledge to deliver high-quality care. The foundation of Lackawanna College’s program includes classes in leadership, health policy, system improvement, research and evidence-based practice, teamwork and collaboration, public health and geriatrics.
Besides the 41 credits for an active RN license, Lackawanna will evaluate additional transfer credits on an individual basis. Tuition is $299 per credit and additional fees may apply.
