  • Analyze business promotion through advertising, marketing, customer service, and core goals of consumer industries.

  • Recognize the global perspective on business principles and practices.
  • Use technology to sharpen skills through the study of data, management information systems, macroeconomics, and statistics.

Our bachelor’s degree in business is also a great choice for those who have already started their education and would like to further it. Obtaining a B.S. in Business is a natural next step for many of our students who have earned their associate degree in business administration, accounting, business studies, and sports management. While a bachelor’s degree in Business can take students far, some decide to continue their education and earn a master’s degree in business.

Although this is a four-year degree program, it’s incredibly flexible and allows some students to earn their degree faster. Students have the option to take summer session and intersession courses that can help them complete the program in as little as three years.

What Does the B.S. in Business Program Include?

There’s an incredible amount of opportunities available in the business world. During this four year program, students will study and become familiar with all areas of business. Although students may eventually work in one specific field, this well-rounded education will prepare them for anything they need in their careers. Our curriculum covers all topics and skills students will need in their careers in business.

What concentrations can I take?

This concentration provides students with an understanding of the relationships among organizational cultures, consumer behavior, consumer psychology, and the marketing mix. The curriculum emphasizes research, theory, and practice regarding promotional methods, target markets, branding, and customer value.

The Lean Entrepreneurship concentration is designed to explore how entrepreneurs create new ideas that exploit market opportunities and test those ideas using an iterative learning process.
