A Customer Service Support Technician professional certification from Lackawanna College prepares students for jobs in a variety of settings in office and online.

Students gain a general understanding and knowledge of all areas of customer service including customer communications and organization.

The Course Work

This program runs 360 hours (30 hours per week for 12 weeks), after which a certificate is rewarded.

The certificate program gives students comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as financial functions, constructing workbooks and team building and communication skills.

The student will also receive instruction in constructing documents that include SmartArt graphics, sorted lists and tables, constructing workbooks that include cell names, financial functions and team building skills, and verbal communication.

Each student will prepare and sit for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in Word and Excel, which focus on demonstrating skills using Microsoft Office and the Windows operating systems. Candidates who pass the certification exam show that they can meet globally recognized performance standards.
