Customer Service Support Technician

The Customer Service Support Technician 12-week professional certification program at Lackawanna College gives each student a general understanding and knowledge of all areas of customer service including customer communications and organization.

Each student will prepare and sit for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in Word and Excel, which focus on demonstrating skills using Microsoft Office and the Windows operating systems. Candidates who pass the certification exam show that they can meet globally recognized performance standards.

The student will also receive instruction in: constructing documents that include SmartArt graphics, sorted lists and tables, constructing workbooks that include cell names, financial functions and team building skills, and verbal communication.
