Lackawanna College Freezes 2020-2021 Tuition

The Lackawanna College Board of Trustees approved a tuition freeze for students at its previous rate in an ongoing effort to ease the financial burden of families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students will continue to pay just $7,650 in tuition per semester for the 2020-2021 academic year. Lackawanna College has the lowest tuition and fees of any private college in northeastern Pennsylvania.

“It’s our responsibility as this community’s college to continue to keep costs low for students and families,” said Dr. Jill Murray, president of Lackawanna College. “Our top priority has been and will continue to be providing a quality, affordable education for all persons seeking to improve their lives and better the communities in which they live.”

Lackawanna successfully transitioned to remote instruction and employment in mid-March, and the College continues to develop plans for students to return for the Fall 2020 semester.
