Dual Enrollment for High School Students

Lackawanna College allows local high school students the opportunity to gain a head start on their college careers through Dual Enrollment courses offered within the hours and confines of their high school. Courses are also available through Lackawanna College’s online program, at our main campus in Scranton, or at our satellite centers in Hawley, Hazleton, Sunbury, Towanda, and Tunkhannock. This program is offered to high schools throughout northeastern Pennsylvania on a contractual basis and a reduced cost.

Tuition and Scholarships

High school students can earn college credits at a discounted tuition rate. The College’s standard dual enrollment tuition rate is $100/credit but may vary by school district based on contractual agreement. Students who earn Lackawanna College credits through the Dual Enrollment program can receive a Dual Enrollment Incentive Scholarship if they enroll at Lackawanna College after high school to complete their degree!

How to Enroll

Registration for dual enrollment happens during the school year. A representative from Lackawanna College will visit the school to register students. Please check with your school counseling office to find out what courses are eligible and when the registration day is at your high school!

How to Request a Transcript

Official Lackawanna College transcripts are requested online through the National Student Clearinghouse.
