Lackawanna College Partners with Rosetta Stone
SCRANTON, Pa. – March 15, 2019 – Lackawanna College has entered into a partnership with Rosetta Stone Inc., America’s premier commercial online language teacher. Rosetta Stone will be offered to the College community, including active staff and degree-seeking students, to learn up to two languages of their choice. This partnership allows Lackawanna to continue to broaden its diversity and encourage its students and faculty to explore new languages.
“Partnering with an industry leader like Rosetta Stone gives our faculty the tools to provide all of our students with a greater opportunity to succeed in today’s workforce,” said TJ Eltringham, Lackawanna College Vice President for Enrollment Management.
The program will provide students with a valuable resource to learn a non-native language that might normally not be available to them, or could raise the cost of their tuition. Faculty will also have access to the platform to include within the classroom, creating a more robust and exciting learning experience for students across every program.
