Former NFL Player Ross Tucker to Speak at Lackawanna College
SCRANTON, Pa. – Sept. 12, 2019 – Ross Tucker, who played seven seasons as a journeyman offensive lineman in the NFL, will discuss his Princeton Player’s Four Pillars for Success, also known as the Four P’s: passion, priorities, preparation and performance. This free event is open to the public on Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. at the People’s Security Bank Theater at Lackawanna College, 501 Vine St., Scranton.
“Any opportunity to present a role model who has made a good life for themselves is invaluable for our players,” said Mark Duda, Lackawanna College Head Football Coach.
Ross graduated from Princeton University in 2000 as a four-year varsity athlete for the Tigers football team, a two time Academic All-American and an All-Ivy selection. In March of 2008, he retired from the National Football League after a seven-year career as an offensive lineman with the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns due a neck injury that bruised his spinal cord.
Ross is now a host on SiriusXM NFL Radio, a college football color analyst on NBC Sports Network, an NFL game analyst for Westwood One, a writer for Sports on Earth and the co-founder of RT Media and the founder and CEO of GoBigRecruiting.com.
