    Business Partnerships

    Lackawanna College partners with corporate and local companies to provide scholarships and tuition assistance to employees.

    Please click on the drop-down menus below to see the scholarship program overview for each of our existing business partners.

    Dunkin Donuts
    • Scholarships will be awarded in Fall and/or Spring Semesters only.
    • You must be actively employed by Dunkin’ Donuts at the beginning and end of the semester.
    • You must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program at Lackawanna College’s main campus in Scranton, Pa., online, or at any of our five satellite centers in Hawley, Hazleton, New Milford, Sunbury, or Towanda, Pa.
    • You must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average. GPA requirements may differ per location. See your store manager for details.
    • You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible.
    • The value of the scholarship will differ based on your enrollment status (full-time vs. part-time)
    EDM
    • You can earn an associate degree in Business Studies while employed at EDM.
    • Employees are eligible to participate in the classes once they’ve been employed for 30 days and they are an EDM direct hire. This benefit is limited to full-time staff who must be in good standing with no performance improvement plan.
    • Upon completion of this program, the estimated value for employees is approximately $40,000 (tuition and books).
    • All classes are offered on-site at EDM.
    • Students who complete the associate degree will be eligible to continue in the Business bachelor’s degree program at Lackawanna College with a discounted rate of up to 21% off of standard tuition.
    • Classes begin regularly. Please see your manager for information on the next available classes.
    Knoebel's
    • Scholarships will be awarded in Fall and/or Spring Semesters only. Our Winter and Summer Sessions are not eligible for scholarships as they are already heavily discounted.
    • Students must be actively employed by Knoebels at the beginning and end of the semester.
    • Students must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program at Lackawanna College’s main campus in Scranton, Pa., online, or at any of our five satellite centers in Hawley, Hazleton, New Milford, Sunbury, or Towanda, Pa.
    • Students must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average that is agreed upon by both organizations.
    • Student’s must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible.
    • The value of the scholarship will differ based on a student’s enrollment status (full-time vs. part-time)
    McDonald's

    • Scholarships will be awarded in Fall and/or Spring Semesters only. Our Winter and Summer Sessions are not eligible for scholarships as they are already heavily discounted.
    • Students must be actively employed by McDonald’s at the beginning and end of the semester.
    • Students must be enrolled in an associates or bachelor’s degree program at Lackawanna College’s main campus in Scranton, Pa., online, or at any of our five satellite centers in Hawley, Hazleton, New Milford, Sunbury, or Towanda, Pa.
    • Students must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average that is agreed upon by both organizations.

    Employees will also be eligible for the McDonald’s Corp. Archways to Opportunity program.

    Sheetz
