The family and a group of Paul’s friends are organizing this year’s annual tournament to benefit the Paul J. Miller, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at Lackawanna College. All proceeds will be restricted to the fund, which is awarded through the college’s Financial Aid Department.  All gifts to the fund are fully tax deductible.

In 2010, the family of Paul J. Miller, Jr., a 2008 graduate, established a scholarship at Lackawanna College to celebrate their son’s life and accomplishments. This scholarship provides tuition assistance to students that excel academically and exemplify Paul’s spirit.  Paul’s parents, Eileen and Paul Sr. have requested preference be given to criminal justice majors and/or members of the baseball team.

Event registrations, sponsorships and monetary donations by check can be made payable to Lackawanna College and mailed to the Advancement Office, 501 Vine St., Scranton, PA 18509. Please write Paul Miller Scholarship on the memo line. In-kind donations of food, beverages, raffle, and auction prizes are also greatly appreciated by the family.

Thank you for your personal or your organization’s support of the Paul J. Miller Memorial Scholarship at Lackawanna College. With your support, Paul’s memory lives on in the education and assistance to deserving college students.
