What is an RSS feed?
RSS feeds are coded lists of headlines and descriptions that translate into dynamic listings of content, depending on your feed reading service. Whether it is Outlook (2007), Firefox, Google, or any other reader, your headlines will update without you having to come and check for updates yourself!
Why do I get a page full of code when I click on the link?
RSS feeds use a type of code called XML. Some XML can be displayed in a web browser, but RSS feeds display correctly when you use a feed reader. Copy the URL of the XML file and paste it in the reader to view the information in an easier to recognize format. |
