Phil Vassar is an American singer/songwriter known as one of Nashville’s top tunesmiths. Vassar continues to churn out incisive, soulful lyrics and infectious melodies that capture the heart and soul in the unique and special way that only he can. His career has seen the release of eight albums, two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year trophies, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year, a mantle full of awards, and the launch of his own label, Rodeowave Entertainment.

Jefferson Starship prevails as one of the most critically acclaimed touring acts today. Steeped in the fantastic realms of science fiction and the contemporary American shadow land, Jefferson Starship features a stellar cast of old and new players, including songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Paul Kantner and David Freidburg, both of whom founded Jefferson Airplane and were crucial in developing the renowned “San Francisco Sound” that changed the course of pop music forever.

Winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage tells the story of how a playground altercation between 11-year-old boys brings two sets of Brooklyn parents together to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters. Gaslight Theatre Company returns to the Community Concerts season for its fifth year with this fast-paced, one-act play.

Rhythm of the Dance is an inspiring epic, reliving the journey of the Irish Celts throughout history. Combining traditional dance and music with the most up to date stage technology, the show is a thousand-year-old story executed with all the advantages of the modern day stage show. Rhythm of the Dance has heralded a new era in Irish entertainment and is internationally rated as one of the most popular and busiest Irish step dance shows in the world. Rhythm of the Dance aspires to a purity content preserving the traditions of Irish step dancing and yet presenting it in the most modern format that has made it a leader in its field.
