SCRANTON, Pa. – Members of the Lackawanna College Student Government Association (SGA) recently donated $400 to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Funds were raised through a basket raffle held during the spring semester. The donation follows a previous gift of $610 made in the fall of 2013. The Children’s Advocacy Center is a private, non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to provide excellence in the assessment and treatment of child abuse and neglect. The CAC will host its Moonlight Walk/Run and Family Festival at Nay Aug Park in Scranton on Sunday, April 27, from 2-8 p.m. For more information on the event, visit www.cacnepa.org.
