Lackawanna College’s academic affairs administrative team and full-time faculty determine the objectives and content and supervise instruction in each of the College’s 30 degree programs and/or concentrations.
The Associate Dean for Curriculum (Mrs. Erica Barone-Pricci) coordinates the faculty responsibilities with the aid of four Division Chairs (Mrs. Emy Kurilla, Humanities; Mr. Joe Gilroy, Business; Dr. Sharon Nazarchuk, Social Sciences and Mrs. Debbie Prazych, Math/Science). The Vice President for Academic Affairs (Dr. Jill Murray) is responsible for the coordination of and vision for all aspects of academic affairs, including continuing education, admissions, registrar, student life and athletics. The assistant to the Academic Officers (Mrs. Maryclare Gallagher) performs day-to-day administrative duties. All administrative offices have an open door policy and each encourages students and parents alike to contact the administrative team with any issues or concerns.
As well, we believe and are completely dedicated to our growing diverse population and our open admissions policy. We are also devoted to making each of our students feel comfortable and welcome.
