The overall objective of the course is to help the student acquire various career success skills, which will enable him/her to better succeed in a chosen field.

Specific objectives include:

3. The qualities employers look for in interviewees and the characteristics of a good professional interview.
4. The degree to which office politics can seriously impact career growth.
5. How an employee should react to typical work-related stresses, including office politics.
6. The importance of assertiveness training and good communication skills in career advancement.
7. The components of successful leadership within organizations.
