OT 106 Intermediate Keyboarding Course Objectives:
Students in OT 106 should be able to:
- Improve basic skills on straight, statistical, script, and rough-draft copy.
- Produce error-free documents and apply language arts skills.
- Format two-page letters and memos, learn special letter parts, and generate envelopes with special notations.
- Prepare memos from templates.
- Format tables using formulas to perform calculations, sort information, set tabs
- Convert tables to text, draw tables, and rotate text.
- Format business reports with preliminary pages.
- Format reports with endnotes, footnotes, and hyperlinks.
- Format documents with graphics and other design enhancements and format reports in columns.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, itineraries, news releases, and labels.
- Create mail merge documents.
- Compose and format employment documents and assess employment skills.
