LAW 125 Environmental Law and Policies Course Objectives:

Students in LAW 125 will:

  1. Analyze how precedent-setting environmental situations have influenced law and public policy.
  2. Review the connections between environmental issues and technology, sociology, and philosophy.
  3. Know the major provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Air Act (CAA), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
  4. Engage in critical thinking on and open dialogue about how our culture may best use the natural environment.
