ECE 105 Introduction to Early Childhood Education Course Objectives:  

ECE 105 students should be able:

  1. To identify contributors to the development of Early Childhood Programs (Montessori, Pestalozzi, Froebel and Dewey.);
  2. To evaluate current Early Childhood Programs and trends in the field;
  3. To explore the work of Piaget and his influence on curricula and teaching practices for the young.
