Orientation
The purpose of orientation is to assist new students in adjusting to the academic and social environments of the College.
This mandatory program, which is conducted on the Friday before the beginning of each semester, involves introduction to and interaction with essential College personnel and faculty.
The students also meet with their faculty advisors and receive their student ID cards.
An orientation committee, which consists of upper class students and the Director of Student Activities, helps to coordinate this activity, provides tours of the College, and facilitates social interaction among the freshman student body.
