Lackawanna College is an accredited Paramedic Training Institute certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The College offers day and evening programs which provide comprehensive instruction involving paramedic and other emergency medical service education.
Registration fee: $115
This fee is non-refundable and must be submitted with the application. Testing will not be scheduled until the fee is paid.
Credentialing fees: $710
Includes BLS, ACLS, PALS, ITLS, and drug screening. Fee is non-refundable and due upon acceptance into the program
Books and clinical software: $980
Fee is non-refundable and due upon acceptance into the program.

What are my financing options to pay for the program?
Financial aid is available to eligible applicants. A student may receive a Federal Pell Grant and/or Federal Stafford Loans in addition to any grant and scholarship aid for which they are eligible. Sixty-three percent of graduates used loans to finance their education.

How long will it take to complete the program?
The Paramedic course is a one-year certificate program. Eighty-six percent of our total enrollment completed the program. Three students withdrew or failed.

The job placement rate for students who complete the program is 90 percent or higher.
