| Sexual Discrimination Policy |
| The College endorses and enforces Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 that prohibits sex discrimination against any participant in an educational program or activity that receives federal funds. |
| Smoking Policy |
| Smoking is prohibited inside all Lackawanna College buildings. There are no designated smoking areas on campus. All members of the Lackawanna community are encouraged to refrain from smoking while on campus. Smokeless tobacco usage is also prohibited. Violators will be fined $25.00 for each offense. |
| Firearms Policy |
Lackawanna College maintains a policy that firearms are not to be brought into any of its buildings without prior approval from the Lackawanna Police Academy director.
The only exception to this policy is a law enforcement officer in full uniform or on official business. |
| Motor Vehicle Regulations |
The operation and parking of a motor vehicle in the campus lot is a privilege.
All motor vehicles, including but not limited to motorcycles, parked in the campus lot are required to have a current, valid parking permit displayed. These may be obtained from the Liaison Officer on duty. Permits are issued for each semester.
Lackawanna College assumes no responsibility for vehicles parked on College property. Students, faculty and staff are solely responsible for their vehicles (including parking citations and/or towing or booting charges) while the vehicles are located on College property. |
