Office Professional/Pre-Employment Training
The Office Professional Certificate Program is designed to give the student a full understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 Introductory essentials, Advanced and Post Advanced computer projects. The students will also learn how to use the Internet and create Web pages. Along with the Microsoft training, students will also learn principles of accounting, office procedures, business communication, business management, job finding, Career Success Skills, A+ Software\Hardware, Network+ and Visual Basics.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will have the skills to obtain a position in a variety of office settings.

Hours:  1200 (25 hours per week for 48 weeks)

Medical Office Professional/Pre-Employment Training
The Medical Office Professional Certificate Program is designed to give the student and understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 introductory essentials, advanced and post advanced computer projects. The student will also learn how to use the Internet and create Web pages. Along with the Microsoft training the students will also learn keyboarding, medical terminology, medical transcription, medical billing and coding, anatomy and physiology, medical office procedure, business communication, medical office management, job finding skills and career success skills.

Medical Office Assistant with Nurse Aide Training with Pre-Employment Training
This 28 week program will prepare students for an entry level position in a Medical office setting.  This program will instruct students in multiple aspects of medical office procedures, including terminology and transcription, insurance processing, billing and coding, basic employment skills, as well as instruction as a Nurse Aide.  Upon completion of the training students will have skills to work in a doctor’s office, hospital/or long-term care facility as a Medical Office assistant and/or Nurse Aide.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will have the skills to obtain a position in a medical office.

Hours: 28 weeks, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

Administrative Technician + Program with Pre-Employment Training
This is a 22 week program provides hands-on learning in all aspects of office skills, including computerized office technology, using Windows and Office 2003, introductory and advanced. Principles of Accounting, Computerized Accounting, management skills and general business skills such as keyboarding are also taught. This course will develop the students understanding of business and office procedures to prepare them to meet the challenges of the working world.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will have the skills to obtain a position in a medical office.

Hours:  550 (25 hours per week for 22 weeks)

This course will develop the students’ knowledge and understanding of basic computers in order to prepare them to meet the challenges of the working world.

Medical Office Skills Training Program/Pre-Employment Training
This 17 week program provides individuals with training in the following areas, Medical Terminology and Transcription. The student will be able to acquire a responsible entry-level position in a medical office or hospital setting as a medical secretary, medical billing clerk, and medical office assistant or medical transcriptionist.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will have the skills to obtain a position in a medical office.

Hours: 425 (25 hours per week for 17 weeks)
