Confirmation
You will receive confirmation for all programs when your registration is received with payment or authorization to bill at least two weeks prior to the program. If you do not receive confirmation, be certain to call the Department of Continuing Education at 961-7813 to confirm your enrollment. Class location will be sent with confirmation.

Cancellation Policy
The Department of Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel a course for insufficient registration, although we make every effort to run all classes. Please help us to offer the courses you want and avoid cancellations by sending in your registration at least two weeks before the start of the class.

Refund Policy
Registrations must be cancelled by phone one week prior to the start of the class. All cancellations must be followed up with a written request to receive a refund. Registrants who decide not to attend a course can receive a refund, less a $25.00 processing fee, if they provide written notification one week prior to the start of class. Requests for refunds should be sent to the Department of Continuing Education, Lackawanna College, 501 Vine Street, Scranton, PA 18509.

Refunds will only be given if the college receives a request in writing from the student. Refunds will be based on the following schedule:

100% prior to the start of class---less a $25.00 processing fee.
50% after the first class
25% after the second class

Gift Certificates
Give the gift of learning. Gift certificates are a wonderful idea for birthdays, holidays or any occasion! 

**Tuition for certificate programs may be funded through government programs such as WIA, SPOC, TAA, OVR, NAFTA, etc. Approval by the respective government agency is required.
