Police Academy cadets use local trial as teaching tool
SCRANTON, Pa. – Members of the Lackawanna College Police Academy had the opportunity to use a local trial as a teaching tool for their future careers.
Nearly two dozen cadets were in the courtroom on Monday, May 5 to hear testimony in the homicide trial of Jason Dominick. Dominick is one of two suspects accused in the murder of Frank Bonacci, of Dunmore, in the summer of 2013.
WBRE took time to interview cadets on their observations of the trial and how the testimony of investigators will likely impact they way they approach their own work as future officers.
