Lackawanna to hold information sessions in Sunbury, Pa.
SUNBURY, Pa. – Lackawanna College will host information sessions for interested prospective students and their families on Thursday, June 8, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m., and Friday, June 9, from 9–11 a.m. at its new location in the Sunbury Plaza, 1125 N. 4th Street. The College invites central Pennsylvania residents who are interested in pursuing an affordable, high-quality education to come and meet with the Center’s new Director, Philip Campbell, as well as personnel from the Office of Admissions. Information will be available on degree programs offered at the Center as well as financial aid and application processes. The College is currently accepting students, and classes for the fall semester begin on August 28, 2017.
Philip Campbell was born and raised in Sunbury and has worked in the education field for the past 18 years. Nine of those years were spent working in higher education in various leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education from Lebanon Valley College, and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education and Student Services from Lewis University. Philip is looking forward to joining the Lackawanna team. He currently resides in Sunbury with his wife and two daughters.
Students enrolling at the Sunbury Center can pursue their associate degree in the fields of business administration, criminal justice, human services, or liberal studies. By utilizing accelerated options like online, summer, and intersession classes, students can graduate with an associate degree in less than two years.
