Lackawanna offering free computer classes for veterans
SCRANTON, Pa. – In an effort to continue to serve our greater community, Lackawanna College’s Continuing Education Department will offer free computer training programs to military service members and veterans beginning in March.
The goal of the complimentary program is to help members of our armed forces expand their computer knowledge and allow them to become more computer savvy. There are no commitment fees or additional requirements to take part in the free community service program.
Topics will include use of Microsoft Office programs, navigating the Internet, creating an email account, researching employment opportunities, and much more. All skill levels are welcome.
Classes will begin on Friday, March 4, and continue every other Friday from 1-3 p.m. in Room 318 of Angeli Hall, 501 Vine St., Scranton.
