Lackawanna College receives EITC donation from First National Community Bank
SCRANTON, Pa. – First National Community Bank recently presented a $2,000 Educational Improvement Tax Credit donation to Lackawanna College to benefit the College’s ongoing EITC programs.
Lackawanna has been designated as an Educational Improvement Organization by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for providing innovative educational programs to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Annually, the College’s programs attracted hundreds of children from nearly a dozen regional school districts to Lackawanna’s Environmental Education Center in Covington Township for a range of week-long summer camps and discovery-based learning sessions.
The support of Lackawanna College is part of FNCB’s larger Community Caring initiative. As a true, local community bank, FNCB is making a difference through volunteerism, donations and outreach programs.
