Lackawanna College Opens Registration for Out of the Blue Dinner
Registration is open for the Lackawanna College “Out of the Blue” pop-up dinner to be held on Thursday, September 21st from 6:30-9 p.m. Proceeds from this annual celebration benefit the Lackawanna College Fund.
The secret location of the dinner will be revealed to all registered guests via text message on the day of the event. Guests can reserve their seat for Out of the Blue at outofthebluedinner.com. Seats are $25 each for both Table Captains and their guests. Out of the Blue has been hosted at different locations each year. Past locations have included The Marketplace at Steamtown and the Steamtown National Historic Site.
Out of the Blue is a blank canvas, allowing Table Captains to plan their ideal self-catered menu and create their own awe-inspiring tablescapes. Tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, and entertainment are provided. Table captains can invite up to nine guests to join them at the event. There will also be a tablescape competition for the best centerpiece and presentation.
Food will not be sold at the event, but guests can arrange to order a dinner package from one of Out of the Blue’s partners. Guests who come are encouraged to come dressed in shades of blue with drinks, food, table décor, and place settings. Once the table is set, dinner can be enjoyed al fresco.
Out of the Blue 2017 sponsors include Light Speed Technology, Center City Print, Dickson City American Legion Riders Post 665, Fidelity Bank, Robert P. Harrington Sheet Metal, Rock Street Music, Topp Copy, and Marquis Art & Frame.
Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to become a sponsor.
The event is 21-and-over. Guests are encouraged to clean their own area out of respect for the public space, taking the memory of an unforgettable event with them. Tickets are not available for sale at the door. All reservations must be made online by Sept. 17, 2017.
