College Information Fair is Oct. 5, 2016

SCRANTON, Pa. – Students at Lackawanna College have an opportunity to learn about their options after graduation and meet with representatives from more than a dozen different colleges and universities during Lackawanna’s Fall College Information Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5. The fair will be held on the second floor of Angeli Hall, 501 Vine Street, Scranton, Pa.

This fall marks the first time that students at Lackawanna College will be able to gain information about the College’s upcoming bachelor’s degree programs in Business and Criminal Justice, along with information from visiting colleges and universities.

Nearly 60 percent of students transfer the credits they earn at Lackawanna to other academic institutions, thanks in part to a number of articulation agreements and access to a number of colleges under the Pennsylvania State System University’s Academic Passport program. Events like the Fall College Information Fair showcase the opportunities students have to make the most of the credits they’ve already earned.

Colleges scheduled to visit campus this year are:

    • East Stroudsburg University
    • Harrisburg University of Science & Technology
    • Keystone College
    • King’s College
    • Kutztown University
    • Mansfield University
    • Marywood University
    • Millersville University

    • Penn State University (Worthington Scranton)
    • Shippensburg University
    • Temple University
    • University of Pittsburgh @ Bradford
