Bachelor’s Signing Day honors early commitment to new degrees
SCRANTON, Pa. – One by one, more than 30 current Lackawanna College students and recent graduates signed their early commitment to the next chapter in our history on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 14 and 15.
The Bachelor’s Signing Day events held in the board room of Angeli Hall recognized the foresight of more than 30 students who will earn our first-ever bachelor’s degrees in Business, Criminal Justice, and Human Services.
Among those students already committed to the new degree programs are 18 Scranton residents, five alumni from the Class of 2009 through the Class of 2016, and two Community Opportunity Scholarship recipients.
The change represents an expansion of the degrees offered by Lackawanna as we remain committed to the many associate degree and certificate programs that students have pursued throughout our history in Lackawanna County and through our satellite centers across the region.
Current, former, and new students interested in pursuing their bachelor’s degree at Lackawanna College should contact our Bachelor’s Admissions Liaison Michelle Ketten at (570) 504-8094 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Interested students may also complete the form below.
