The Falcon Ambassadors, in collaboration with the Dean of Student’s office, connect students through enhanced leadership development training sessions and communication of College policies. The Falcon Ambassadors facilitate tours for all incoming students as well as build strong relationships with the surrounding community through continued community service initiatives. The organization is comprised of students that are involved in all aspects around campus who come together to serve as hardworking representatives for the Dean of Students Office.
The group is led by a Falcon Ambassadors Executive Board. Board members must be in good standing on campus, have a 2.3 GPA or higher, have completed one semester, and possess strong leadership skills. Students interested in applying to become a Falcon Ambassador Board Member must complete an application, submit two letters of recommendation and successfully complete a formal interview.
Supporting the executive board members are our Falcon Ambassadors, who are equally critical to the success of our program. A Falcon Ambassador must be in good standing, have a desire to make a difference at Lackawanna College, participate in two events per semester, and conduct scheduled tours in order to connect fellow students to the Lackawanna College community.
