Directions to Valley View Stadium

From New England, New York and New Jersey using I-84

  1. Follow I-84 until it merges with I – 380. Road splits to left and right. Take right toward Scranton (I-84 W – 380 N – I-81)
  2. Follow I – 380 for 3.5 Miles
  3. You will see the Tigue Street Exit. YOU WILL NOT EXIT ONTO Tigue Street. However immediately after the exit you will position yourself in the right most lane. Immediately after Tigue Street, you will see a sign for Route 6 – Carbondale, Stay to the Right and exit onto the Ramp underneath the sign for Route 6 – Carbondale.
  4. You will then proceed approximately 5 miles to the Route 247 – Jessup Exit (It is a ramp exit on the right side of the highway.)
  5. At the end of the ramp take a left onto Route 247.
  6. Proceed approximately 0.6 miles to a stop sign.
  7. At the stop sign the road splits with 247 going to the left and Hill Street straight ahead. Take the road straight ahead on to Hill Street.
  8. Proceed down Hill Street for approximately 0.8 miles until you come to another stop sign.
  9. At this Stop Sign, take a right.
  10. You will proceed approximately 300 yards over a small bridge and come to another stop sign.
  11. At this stop sign, turn left. This is Main Street, Peckville, PA.
  12. You will proceed for 0.6 miles to a stop light. Continue straight through the stop light for approximately 0.1 or less miles. The entrance to Valley View Stadium will be the first left after the stop light. If you pass Valley View Elementary School on your Left, you’ve gone too far.

From New Jersey, New York and East Central Pennsylvania using I – 80 or PA 33 & I-80

  1. Take I-80 West to its Junction with I -380 North. The I- 380 Junction is approximately 5 miles west of exit 298.
  2. Bear Right at exit 293 onto I -380
  3. Follow I-380 North towards Scranton past the point were I – 84 and I -380 meet
  4. Continue on I – 380 North for 3.5 Miles

Northeast Extension PA Turnpike – From Philadelphia, Allentown and points along the Northeast Extension Turnpike Corridor.

  1. Take the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike to the Wyoming Valley Exit
  2. The Wyoming Valley Exit is the first exit after the Toll Plaza located approximately 13 miles North of the Wilkes Barre exit.
  3. The exit is located off the right lane and winds itself over the turnpike and back to state route 315.
  4. The exit ramp splits to allow traffic to proceed to either 315 South and 315 North, you will take the split leading to State Route 315 & I-81 North.
  5. Stay in the right most lane on 315 North and procee­d approximately 0.3 mile to the entrance ramp for I-81 North.
  6. Follow I – 81 North for approximately 13 Miles. Immediately past exit 185 proceed to the right most lane. You will come to a split in I-81 where you will see signs for I-380 Stroudsburg and I -81 to Binghamton. You will also see a sign for Route 6 – Carbondale.
  7. At the split, go to the right towards I-380 and Route 6 Carbondale. Once you take the right at the split, proceed to the left most lane.
  8. This lane will take you directly into the Route 6 – Carbondale exit ramp.

I-81 From Harrisburg, Wilkes-Barre and Points South

  1. Follow I – 81 North. Immediately past exit 185 proceed to the right most lane. You will come to a split in I-81 where you will see signs for I-380 Stroudsburg and I -81 to Binghamton. You will also see a sign for Route 6 – Carbondale.
  2. At the split, go to the right towards I-380 and Route 6 Carbondale. Once you take the right at the split, proceed to the left most lane.

I-81 From Binghamton, Syracuse and Points North

  1. Take I -81 South to Exit 190 ( Main Ave)
  2. Exit I – 81 at Exit 190
  3. At end of exit ramp, road splits.
  4. Stay to the Right (Right turn onto Main Ave)
  5. Stay on Main Avenue for approximately 3.1 miles. Counting the light at the foot of exit 190 there will be 8 stop lights. At the 8th stop light (Mid Valley Hospital will be on your left) the road splits. Bear right (sign reads Main Street).
  6. Proceed approximately 0.6 miles to entrance to the stadium. Entrance will be on your right and will be immediately after a Gulf Gas Station.
