Summer Camp
Join us for a week of fun and adventure exploring the natural habitats of the 42 acre Moffat Estate. Experienced staff will guide children through innovative experiential activities focused on discovery and team work to gain a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all life.
LCEI Day Camp 2013:
A Closer Look (Ages 5 & 6) - June 17-21 or 24-28 (half-day)
Backyard Habitats (Ages 7 & 8) - July 1-5 or 8-12
Eco Explorers (Ages 9 & 10) - July 22-26 or July 29 to Aug. 2
Earth Connections (Ages 11 to 13) - August 5-9 or 12-16

*The Lackawanna College Environmental Institute is partnering with the Lackawanna Audubon Society to offer scholarships for its Outdoor Career Adventures Camp between the ages of 14 and 17. The camp is geared toward high school students interested in learning about the new green careers of the future and will get hands-on experience in various environmental fields such as renewable energy, environmental science, global issues and technology. Ten scholarships will be awarded on a “first come first serve basis”. Each award is an $80 value. Click on the Camp Brochure link for more information about the camps. Interested candidates must fill out the camp registration found on the camp brochure to be considered. Scholarship recipients will be notified after receipt of registration.
